#16 C.W. Parker Hunter's Pride Hand-carved from solid basswood by the Charles W. Parker Amusement Devices Co., Leavenworth, Kansas. This horse was commonly known as the "Hunter's Pride" due to the rifle, hanging rabbit and old hound dog behind the saddle. Featured in the nationally circulated "Painted Ponies" calendar by William Manns, July 2002. A copy of the calendar, a ticket stub dated Aug. 5, 1950 from Moxahala Park, and stand is included with the purchase of the horse. |
